Al Swett

Al was with IBM for over 38 years where he developed and maintained a global network of IBM colleagues who focused on "optimizing"​ their customers'​ IT investments. He became known for his expertise in developing related tools and methodologies based on his personal knowledge as well as that of many subject matter experts. He has developed analysis models and tools to help IT management visually locate problems and used these tools directly with customers as well as teaching other IBM consultants how to use them. He is the primary patent-holder in the key tool (Component Assessment Advisor) used for component business model IT management analysis.
